Excerpt from The Collector's Society

“Do you find my ability to converse lacking, Doctor?”

He chuckles softly, no doubt remembering how I wasn’t chatty with anyone, himself included, for the first month of my stay. To be fair, it is difficult to carry on an invigorating discussion when one is shaking so hard from withdrawals they fear they might shatter into thousands of painful pieces before a single word can be uttered. Plus, there was the whole bit of how once I did open up, I raved liked a lunatic about things no normal person could imagine being true.

“Certainly not,” he says to me. “But as I must stay at the Pleasance and you must go forth into the world, it will do you good to practice on somebody new.”

“Then send in one of the orderlies. Or one of the nurses. I’ll happily chat with a staff member.”

One of his bushy, out-of-control eyebrows lifts high into his forehead.

“There are people out there who are quite content being solitary,” I point out. “Who do not need to converse with anybody but themselves and their dogs.”

He sets his pen down. “What about cats?”

Rigor mortis sets in ever so briefly at this question.

“You father said you were quite fond of cats growing up. There was one in particular that you favored. Dinah, was it not?” “I’m—” I have to clear my throat. “Lately, I wonder if perhaps I’m more of a dog person after all.”

*NOTE: The following excerpt is for readers 18 years and older.

Excerpt from Hansel:

I should have called this shit off a long damn time ago.

When I arrived in Vegas seven years ago, I didn’t know any better than what I was. Than what I did. I needed things I haven’t needed in a fucking long time now. Dominating women...it was the air in my lungs.

Now it’s goddamned boring.

I’ve cut back—way back; maybe two or three times a year, like tonight, when we have investors in the house, and my submissives are Luna Trois and French Kitten, a famous porn star and a celebutant bitch who, combined with me, draw a pretty decent crowd.

But this shit is all for show. We don’t do real-time domination at The Forest. Not when my submissives are so notable, and there’s a crowd ten bodies thick behind the Plexiglas wall. Luna and Frenchy had to sign off on the cat I’m palming. On the thick plugs in their puckered holes. On the tight cuffs around their wrists, and the spreaders I’ll use when both their asses are good and welted.

They were happy to agree to the nipple clamps I like to use: the metal ones that can do real damage if left on too long—though, of course, they won’t be.

Neither woman objected to the dual blow job they’ll give me after I spread them wide and use my fist on them, where Luna will deep-throat me and Frenchy will tea-bag my balls. Luna is thrilled that, after she stuffs her throat full of my cock, she’ll spread her legs for Luna’s tongue while Luna lets me fuck her from behind. I’ve got a nine-inch cock, and she told me before the show, she’s shallow, but Luna likes the pain. They all do.

I can’t lie: I like to give it.

I made my name dominating sick showgirls.

A lot of it is my body and my face, my pretty cock and the absurd length of time that I can wield it. But it’s the showmanship, too.

The rough, whispered words the mics can always pick up on.

The heavy-handed spanking—also okay’d by them, although it looks and sounds spontaneous.

The way I give it to them, invading mouth, pussy, and ass, often in quick succession.

People like to think of me as some sort of grand fucking conquestor.

Unbreakable.

Unyielding.

In the six months after I left Colorado and hitchhiked my way to Vegas, where my miserable life began, I made such a name for myself as “Edgar,” my shows at Vixxx would sometimes draw a bigger crowd than the Saturday night fights at the Mirage.

With a pedigree like mine, it wasn’t difficult to sweet-talk investors into fronting a club. I’m good with money—good at betting, I guess—so they were happy to invest again and again, each time lowering my interest rates and increasing the amount of dollars. Now that The Forest is what it is, even the most prudish among them are pleased to have their names up on the donors’ wall inside my primary location on The Strip.

In the last five years, I’ve opened four locations. Financed one sixth of a casino. Built five apartment buildings, invested in one planned gated community, and bought out three luxury car lots.

I’m interviewed regularly by the Nevada Business Times, consulted occasionally by Hollywood, still sporadically beset by huge financial offers from porn studios, discreetly phoned by Wall Street deviants interested in “the lifestyle.”

They all know me as Edgar.

Not my birth name, Lucas Lenore, nor any other name I’ve had.

I’ve made a new life. Become almost famous for my stamina and temper, for my keen eye for submissives and my talent with a crop.

I stay hard all the way through every show, no matter how long. It’s not Viagra. Just my lust.

And no one ever guesses my secret.

At what my private submissives’ gag orders keep hidden.

That after every show, there must be blood.

Mine.

Because I’m not a sadist—not just.

I’m still Hansel. And Hansel is a masochist.

Hansel
Erotic Romance
Published: 20 October 2014

My name is Gretel. I’m the dish-washer. The kitchen girl. I’m not one of Mother’s pets. I’m just a storybook girl no one sees. Until that night. When I find him again, and all my dreams come to life.

He’s mine—the one called Hansel. I’ve come here to claim him.

I’m Hansel, a crazy woman’s toy. It’s taken years, but I’ve finally forgotten everything outside my life here in The House. I live for sex and nothing more. Until I see her. Gretel.

I remember her. I need her. She is mine.

****AUTHOR’S NOTE: This story is not panty-melting. Your panties won’t have time to melt, because they will fuc*ing evaporate. Poof! But let me level with you: It is crazy. It is dark. You have to trust me. You will find both Gretel and Hansel to be completely fuc- lovable. You have my word. P.S. It’s not fantasy. It’s contemporary erotica. P.S.S. No one in this fairy tale is related.****

Release Day Blitz: Rowdy (Marked Men #5) by Jay Crownover (@InkslingerPR @JayCrownover)

About the Author:

Jay Crownover is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Marked Men series. She also introduced the dark and sexy world of The Point in a new series this last summer starting with BETTER WHEN HE's BAD. Like her characters, she is a big fan of tattoos. She loves music and wishes she could be a rock star, but since she has no aptitude for singing or instrument playing, she'll settle for writing stories with interesting characters that make the reader feel something. She lives in Colorado with her three dogs.

Website | Blog | Facebook | Twitter

Excerpt from Rowdy:

WHEN I PUT THE key he had given me in the door to his apartment it felt like the end of a long journey. Really it was only a little over twelve hours and I had stopped to nap once along the way, but it still felt like too long since I had seen his face or been able to touch all that toned and tattooed skin. Jimbo greeted me at the door when I pushed it open. His tongue lolled out of his mouth and he jumped up and put his paws on my legs. He was going to be huge when he finally grew into his fuzzy body and I was overwhelmed at how happy I was to see him. I dropped to my knees and rubbed my face in his neck as he licked me all over my face. I was obviously missed and I had to say it was just one more reason I knew I was finally where I was supposed to be. It was late, so the apartment was dark.

I checked the dog’s food and water, trying to be quiet in case Rowdy was already asleep. I was winding my way toward his bedroom when a haphazardly discarded sketch pad lying on the couch caught my eye in the dim light. I paused for a minute to pick it up and felt my heart stop and then start to race as I flipped through the first few pages. There were a couple of drawings that were obviously for clients, tattoos that hadn’t made it from paper to skin yet, but most of the pristine white pages were covered with images wearing my face. There was mermaid me, and naughty- sailor- girl me. There was sassy Indian girl me with long Pocahontas braids and there was sexy devil me standing next to angelic me. There were dozens of them all in different shapes and sizes, but every single image was undoubtedly modeled after my distinct look. I wasn’t sure if he had drawn them all over this last week while I had been gone or over the months we had been chasing each other in circles.

Either way it made my heart swell and the full certainty that I was it for him settle deep inside my bones. I set the pad down and tiptoed through the hall. Jimbo took one look at where I was going and huffed out a disgusted- sounding snort. The poor guy had learned early on that he wanted no part of what happened between his humans when they were together in the bedroom. The light was off and Rowdy was sprawled on his stomach across the covers. His blond hair was sticking up every- where and he hand one arm bent up under his head. The only thing that could have made the sight better would have been if he hadn’t bothered with the black boxers before crashing out.

Even with them obscuring the view, I couldn’t complain. I let out a breathless sigh and crept closer so that I could lean over and touch my lips to that anchor on the side of his neck. I felt his pulse leap and tasted the salt on his skin as he murmured sleepily and rolled over onto his back. Those infinitely blue eyes glowed at me in the dark as a grin pulled up the corner of his mouth.

“Hey.”

Excerpt from Good Guys Wear Black

Carefully, he led her through the maze to the far side of the room, where he pointed to a small, neat metal cage on a platform.

“Climb in,” he said.

“Oh, excuse me?” She laughed. “I’m not that stupid.”

He grinned and stroked his mustache like a melodrama villain. “I can force you, you know.”

“I’ll scream.” Her chuckle turned to a giggle.

“Who’ll hear you? I told you this place was full of secret hiding spaces.”

“Great. I guess I am this stupid. My body won’t be found for weeks.”

She had no idea why her laughter continued to grow. Potentially this was a very unfunny subject. But just as he’d confused her with his earlier shutdown, he intrigued her with this unfamiliar Dewey. One she trusted for no reason that made any sense.

“Nya ha ha,” he cackled, and made a twirling motion at the end of his mustache. “This is my personal elevator, and I’ll take you to new heights if you’ll trust me.”

“I think in books they’d call me too stupid to live,” she said, and climbed into the cage.

He followed her and closed the little door. The space was only about six feet square and maybe six feet tall. She caught sight of a small box containing two push buttons hanging beside the door. Dewey pushed one of buttons, and the wooden floor of the cage buzzed beneath her feet. Slowly, smoothly, it began to rise.

“Whoa!”

“Better than the glass elevator in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

“Stop with the literary references. You had me at ‘new heights.’”

“Good. Guess I haven’t lost my touch.” He stopped the little elevator just before they reached the final level—a step onto the top of the vertical grain elevator. “There you go. The whole candy factory spread out for you.”

Indeed, she could see the entire floor of the mill from their new perch twenty feet up the side of the wall. The sense of order was clearer from above, and Rose smiled, surveying Dewey’s world.

“Is this safe?” she asked.

“A modern pulley system and brand-new floor. I can secure the cage multiple places along the route.”

To prove it, he flipped another switch she hadn’t noticed, and two steel bars slid from the base of the elevator and locked into brackets on the side of the wall. “We can use this for heavy storage or to keep something big off the floor. It’s very convenient.”

“This is a really cool toy.”

“Yeah, you think?” He grinned. “We loved it when we were kids. It’s not that unusual even now to find one of Emma’s kids up here reading.”

To her next surprise, Dewey slid down the side of the cage and settled onto the floor. With one soft tug, he pulled her to sit beside him. There wasn’t much more room side to side than for the two of them, her thigh snugged up to his, her hip pressed against the denim of his jeans. His size was even more evident like this, with his feet touching the far side of the cage while hers fell shy by six inches.

“What position did you play? In football?” she asked.

“Linebacker. Or I could make my way as a defensive back.”

“I can see that.”

“You know football?”

“I don’t really love football, but it’s the one totally guy thing my father did love. I used to let him tell me about it so I could spend time with him. I kind of like baseball. I always wanted my son to grow up to play first base for the Red Sox.” She laughed. “He couldn’t care less about sports.”

She swore another shadow passed through Dewey’s eyes, but it cleared quickly.

“He might yet.”

“You haven’t seen Jesse with a ball.” She shook her head, no longer stung by the reality of her son’s clumsiness. “But you. You couldn’t go back to playing football after your illness?”

He pursed his lips and raised one knee, resting his large, handsome hand against it. “I lost a lot of strength while I was ill,” he said. “Besides, after that, football didn’t seem quite as important. I figured I could teach football, teach phys ed or something, and that would make a better use out of the life I’d been given back.”

“But you didn’t. Why?”

“My father passed away three-fourths of the way through my first year of teaching, and I couldn’t leave the business or my mother hanging. I came home to take over, and I’ve never left. It’s all fine. I found out I was good at fixing things. This is probably a better fit for me.”

He meant it. She could see his sincerity. But for some reason she didn’t believe him. She thought she could see a connection between his inner shadows and the mention of children. What was he really missing?

“You went through a lot.”

“Everybody does. Look at your story.”

A rush of gratitude washed over her. He really could be a nice guy. For all his intrusiveness and oftentimes banal outlook on life, this was a depth he’d never shown before.

The new insight made her turn and rest one hand above his knee, the other one still stretched flat against the floor. He started slightly at the touch but turned toward her, too. Without giving herself time to think deeply, she leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on the side of his mouth, catching the gentle bristles of his mustache against her top lip. She meant the kiss to be quick and platonic, but a ripple of sweet gooseflesh swept down her neck and into her arms.

She started to pull away, but he stopped her, shifting to take both her upper arms in his hands.

“Uh-oh,” he whispered. “This place just got very unsafe.”

Excerpt from Walk With Me

He clutches my hand and pulls me into the dining room and onto the dance floor. A slow song is now playing and couples are clinging to one another. My heart flutters with nerves. The first dance between a couple can be as intimate as the first kiss.

With confidence driving his actions, Donovan takes me in his arms and pulls me by the waist close to his body. The instant closeness changes my heart from a flutter to a steady drumming. Like I’m wrapped in a cocoon of Donovan, the rest of the dancers fade away and the loud music is subdued to my ears. My hands rest on his chest as we sway to the music in our secluded world. I’m reminded of our first meeting at the coffeehouse and how he made me feel the same way, like I was the only one in the room.

Donovan reaches up and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear before grazing his finger around my bare earlobe and down my neck. The touch sends electricity right to the ends of my fingertips. He lowers his lips to my ear. “Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?”

I blush at his words. The other guys I go out with never compliment me, at least like Donovan. I never expect the compliments and they never offer. I wasn’t looking for a boyfriend and they weren’t looking for a girlfriend, so there was no need to court me or try to win me over.

“I think you may have said something like that earlier.” I focus on his lapel, stroking the smooth material between my fingers with a smile blooming on my lips like a flower that’s been deprived of the sun for years.

Donovan lifts my chin with his index finger to meet his eyes. “A girl as beautiful as you deserves to hear it again.”

I drink in his words, trying to quench my thirst, and lay my head against his strong chest. I exhale with pure contentment as Donovan enfolds me once again in a protective embrace and we sway rhythmically to the music.

Cover Reveal: Play Me Serial by Tracy Wolff (@Barclay_PR)

About the Author:

Tracy Wolff collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where—and sometimes who—she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. Now an English professor at her local community college, she writes romances that run the gamut from contemporary to paranormal to erotic suspense.

Today, Tracy Wolff is so excited to offer a first look at her brand new erotic serial, plus reveal the super sexy, new covers, for Tracy Wolff's Play Me. Play Me's Aria has more than a few complicated feelings when it comes to her sexy boss—and rescuer—Sebastian. See all the covers and learn more about the serial!

Excerpt from Play Me:

Whales belong in the ocean, not in a casino. But in my experience, more often than not, that’s exactly where you find them. Cozied up to a poker table or a craps table or a roulette wheel, sucking down Lagavulin and hassling every pretty girl that walks by.

Then again, I live in Vegas and I work at the Atlantis, currently the hottest casino on the Strip. Where the hell else am I going to see a whale other than right here in my own backyard?

Tonight the place is crawling with them, rich men throwing around thousand dollar chips like confetti and tossing back thousands of dollars’ worth of free liquor the same way. I want to say that it’s an unusual occurrence, but the truth is, this is my life. Has been for a while now.

It’s a different view on this side of the casino from your typical Vegas experience, one filled with ten thousand dollar suits and ten million dollar bets. The air fairly crackles with the sound, the scent, the feel of money. Which translates into much higher tips than working the regular floor does, tips I desperately need. All I have to do to earn them is ignore the fact that the whales on this side of the velvet ropes have much grabbier hands. And an overdeveloped sense of entitlement.

“I need two fingers of Lagavulin, a Belvedere and cranberry, another Nolet’s Reserve and tonic and a shot of Patron Silver,” I tell Michael, tonight’s bartender, as I pick up a dirty martini and a couple of mojitos made with top shelf booze.

He nods, never breaking rhythm as he shakes a margarita in one hand and squirts Coke on top of rum in another.

And then I’m off again, teetering back toward the high roller tables in the four inch stilettos my boss insists all the cocktail waitresses wear. I don’t mind them so much—learning to walk in Louboutins and Manolos was pretty much a required course growing up in my house—but after seven hours straight on my feet, even my steel arches are beginning to whimper.

Which is probably why I’m not at my most patient when Whale Number One, a Japanese businessman who just flew in from Tokyo, rubs a suggestive hand over my ass and down my scantily clad thigh.

I turn around and shoot him a look, and he holds his hands up in a pretend gesture of surrender. “Can I get you anything else?” I ask him, keeping my voice sweet and my eyes steady. It’s my experience that guys like this have trouble keeping up the letch act when they’re looking straight into your eyes. It’s a lesson I learned from my mother years ago: rich men will only give you respect if you demand it.

Excerpt from Dare to Touch:

Ian glanced around the now empty room before speaking. “I realize I’m in no position to judge relationships in the work place.”

Hell no, considering Ian had pursed his now-wife, Riley, brought her into the business, and promoted her, Dylan thought.

As for Olivia … “There is no relationship.”

“But you want there to be one. And my sister isn’t cooperating. Am I right?”

When Dylan didn’t reply, Ian continued. “I saw you two in the hallway. At the party.”

Dylan blew out a long breath. “Not that I owe you an explanation but nothing happened.” He ran a hand over his goatee, buying time.

“Bullshit. I saw the kiss.”

Dylan inclined his head. “Fine.”

He knew Ian was overprotective of his sisters. He even understood the man’s reasons. For that reason alone, Dylan wouldn’t lose his temper now.

“Look, you’re my friend. More than that, I respect you as my boss. But whatever is or isn’t going on with me and Olivia … that’s none of your business.”

Ian eyed him through his infamous narrowed gaze, assessing him, causing Dylan to straighten his shoulders and meet his stare head on.

Ian cleared his throat. “My sister is tough on the outside but she’s … more fragile inside,” he said, clearly considering his words carefully.

“Your point?” Dylan asked the other man.

“Don’t play with her head or her heart.”

Dylan inclined his head. Unknowingly, Ian had just reaffirmed that whatever kept Olivia at arms length, it had nothing to do with business. If anything, she felt too much or she wouldn’t have run.

“We good?” Ian asked.

“Always.”

“Then good luck in Hawaii,” Ian said, turned and walked out the door, leaving Dylan alone to strategize his next step.

Dylan wasn’t the type to give up on something he wanted. He’d been too soft with Olivia, giving her space, figuring she’d give in to chemistry eventually. Obviously that wasn’t going to happen. He needed to take control and should have done it sooner. Where better than the tropical paradise of Hawaii to make his intentions crystal clear.

Yes they were going to Hawaii on business, but she was interested in enjoying the island. They were staying in the same hotel and attending the same events. That added up to opportunity and Dylan wasn’t above taking advantage if it meant getting what he wanted. And he wanted Olivia.

Dare to Touch (Dare to Love #5)
Adult Contemporary Romance
Expected Publication: 13 January 2014 by CP Publishing

Olivia Dare, executive director of the Miami Thunder, and team travel director Dylan Rhodes share more than just a passion for football. Their chemistry is explosive -- their feelings for each other intense. Yet Olivia has ended things for reasons he still can’t fathom and she won’t explain.

When the Pro-Bowl takes them to the tropical paradise of Hawaii, Dylan is determined to make sure their time together isn’t all business. What happens in paradise is life altering but once Olivia admits her deepest secret and fear, will Dylan still want the forever he’s been pushing for?
