When a strange boy tumbles down a river embankment and lands at her feet, seventeen-year-old adrenaline junkie Deznee Cross snatches the opportunity to piss off her father by bringing the mysterious hottie with ice blue eyes home.
Except there's something off with Kale. He wears her shoes in the shower, is overly fascinated with things like DVDs and vases, and acts like she'll turn to dust if he touches her.
It's not until Dez's father shows up, wielding a gun and knowing more about Kale than he should, that Dez realizes there's more to this boy, and her father's "law firm," than she realized. Kale has been a prisoner of Denazen Corporation -- an organization devoted to collecting "special" kids known as Sixes and using them as weapons -- his entire life.
And, oh yeah, his touch? It kills.
The two team up with a group of rogue Sixes hellbent on taking down Denazen before they're caught and her father discovers the biggest secret of all. A secret Dez has spent her life keeping safe.
A secret Kale will kill to protect.

Sounds good, right? It is, trust me. Today, I welcome to Read My Mind the author of TOUCH, Jus Accardo. Thanks to Entangled Publishing for having me on the blog tour!
TOUCH rockets the reader through a story full of danger and discoveries, with Dez and Kale on the run and out of time. In that spirit, Jus is giving us some insight into a few things she'd like to do in her lifetime.
Here's Jus' Top Five Bucket List:
1. See Italy. I have this little problem. I’m human. And humans do
not have wings—at least not last time I checked. If the universe intended
us to fly, we’d have wings. I’m sure about this. Those people with the
Star Trek teleporters need to get busy.
2. Go skiing. Doesn’t seem like too big a deal, right? But I’ve never
been. I’ve been forbidden by friends and family to come within fifty feet
of skis. Why? Because I trip over my own two feet at least twelve times a
day… For some reason, they think skiing would be a bad move.
3. Guest star on Futurama. I’m a cartoon junkie. (and a music
junkie…and a coffee junkie…) Futurama is one of my favorite shows, and
really, who wouldn’t want to see themselves in cartoon form? All hail the
Hypnotoad!
4. Go to the Prom. Okay, well obviously that ship has come and
gone—but I’d like to do something Prom-like. I missed mine and although I
don’t have an overwhelming urge to play dress up and waddle around in
shoes that would be better used as weapons, I’d still like to do it just
once.
5. Skydive. Yes. I’m terrified of planes—and not overly fond of
heights in general—but I still wanna do this. That awesome, freefalling
feeling and total freedom? I’d also accept (rather, actually) one of those
weightless anti-gravity room thingys. They must have those at NASA. I
wonder if they’d let me play around for an hour or two…
