About The Author:
Nancy was born in Sioux City Iowa, left the cold of the Midwest in 1991 and only returns to see family in the summer time. She spent ten years traveling the world as a US Marine and settled in rural SC with her husband and two children.

She enjoys reading all types of Paranormal and Young Adult literature.

Here and Now (Luther Vandross) Lauren spent the day at Max’s house getting to know him better.

Give Me One Reason (Tracey Chapman)Lauren went with Paul to the Police Station, the police have a tough time believing Paul’s explanation of the events.

Come Away With Me (Norah Roberts) After Paul’s death, Lauren and Max decide to leave town to get her away from all the chaos.

Love Story (Taylor Swift) While on their camping trip Lauren fully accepts her destiny and the love she has for Max.

One of us (Joan Osborn) While in the coma, Lauren wasn’t sure if she was in heaven, hell, or purgatory – her disorientation made her question everything she thought she knew.

What I’ve Done (Linkin Park) While in the coma, Lauren worried that Paul’s death was a result of her actions or her inability to see what was about to happen before it was too late.

What a Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong) When Lauren woke up from her coma and realized she wasn’t dead and Max, too, was alive.
