I'm addicted to coffee -good coffee- and reading, of course. I play card games, not video games, for the exception of The Sims. The three greatest books that I've read in the past 24 months are: Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves, The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook, and Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson.
I work as a nanny and mother's helper for a delightful boy with Asperger's. As much as I love my job, the split schedule leaves me with free time when everyone else is at their 9 to 5. So, I fill my free hours reading, blogging, Twitter-ing, watching my extensive BBC DVD collection, and boning up on my HTML.
Literacy has been a passion of mine since I participated as a teacher in the nationally funded Freedom Schools Summer Camp program. Books are the sustenance, which I cannot live without.
